Job Overview: As a Charity Zone Manager, you will lead and manage all charitable activities within
your designated zone. You will have the overall responsibility for 5 Community Hub’s in their
designated districts. Your role is to ensure the effective implementation of programs, engage with
the local community, and support the organisation’s mission and goals within your area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Zone Leadership: Provide leadership and direction for all charitable activities within the
designated zone, ensuring alignment with the organisation’s mission and objectives. - Program Management: Oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of charity
programs and initiatives within the zone. This includes social services and community
outreach. - Community Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with local community members,
organisations, and partners. Promote the organisation’s mission and services within the
community. - Team Supervision: Manage and support a team in your zone comprising of 5 hub leaders
Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback. - Resource Allocation: Allocate resources, including budget, personnel, and materials, to
effectively execute programs and initiatives within the zone. - Needs Assessment: Conduct regular needs assessments within the community to identify
specific challenges, gaps, and opportunities for the organisation’s involvement. - Impact Evaluation: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness and impact of charity programs
within the zone. Use data and feedback to make informed improvements and adjustments. - Advocacy: Advocate on behalf of the local community to address systemic issues and
barriers that prevent beneficiaries from accessing essential services and resources. - Collaboration: Collaborate with other charity zone managers, department heads, and
organisational leaders to ensure a unified approach to the organisation’s mission. - Compliance and Reporting: Ensure that all activities and operations within the zone comply
with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards. Provide regular reports and updates to
the organisation’s leadership. - Emergency Response: Coordinate and lead the organisation’s response to emergencies or
crises within the zone, including natural disasters or community crises.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., social work, nonprofit management, public
administration) is often preferred. - Several years of experience in nonprofit or charity management, including leadership roles.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and community engagement skills.
- Knowledge of local community dynamics, needs, and resources.
- Proficiency in program management, budgeting, and evaluation.
- Commitment to the organisation’s mission and values.
